I'm a published author, professional international public speaker, musician and visual artist. I grew up in Shanghai and Hong Kong, then as a teen, Israel, South Africa, Canada and currently I live in Los Angeles, California. I was interned for three years during the Japanese occupation of Shanghai, and after emigrating to Israel, was in the army for two years. After marrying I lived in S. Africa, eventually emigrated to Toronto, and eventually realized my lifelong dream of living in the USA. Three of my four children also live in California, and my eldest child still lives in Johannesburg.
In 2005 I was a guest of BBC One, in England, and also invited back by the Imperial War Museum to lecture for several days on site. Too much to write about here!

My printed book, Hiding in a Cave of Trunks: A prominent Jewish Family's Century in Shanghai and internment in a WWII POW Camp, is published and available on amazon.com. I'm an indie author and have done exceedingly well. Ive been published in several anthologies, Written scrips and produced several revues in South Africa, and Composed music there for school and community productions. I've contributed multiple feature stories to SAJAC (S.African Jewish Assc. Canada)
