After solo-parenting my amazing 20 year-old daughter, I recently retired my single-mom identity and -- all too briefly -- stepped into the caregiver role for my incredible, adventurous Dad, who died of ALzheimer's too soon, New Year's day '16. Caring for him in home hospice was a profound honor and the 2nd most important thing I've done in my life, after raising my child.
But that is just a fraction of me - I've lived all over the world and worked in a variety of industries, but through it all, I've always been a writer. I'm excited to be experiencing a personal renaissance of sorts and find myself able to focus on my craft more than ever - I have so many stories to tell!
