A former televison (film/avid) editor who has written poetry and personal essay and who came down with a rare, often fatal pregnancy related illness in March, 2010 that gave me a stroke and put me in a coma. Writing my way out of illness and advocating on behalf of other brain injured patients is a goal.

I recently started my own monthly writer's group (free) out of my house in which we share and critique poetry, fiction, non fiction. I attended one year of graduate school at UMass Amherst where I studied literature and composition theory and taught college freshmen writing for two semesters so I have some skills.
