Who am I
I am a retired teacher, who now has time to pursue my passion for writing. I enjoy writing poetry, flash fiction, and creative non-fiction. I am an outdoor enthusiast and nature lover. I also enjoy Pilates and yoga. I live with my husband and three rescue dogs in rural Piedmont North Carolina.

My flash fiction piece "Fractured" appeared in the paperback The Pop Machine by Inwood Indiana Press, a subsidiary of Prolific Press (March, 2017). Numerous flash fiction pieces have appeared in Nailpolish Stories, A Tiny and Colorful Journal. My poem "Frozen Discoveries" was selected for the North Carolina's Best Emerging Poets: An Anthology. Individual poems have appeared in numerous online and print journals including The Avocet, Plum Tree Tavern, Naturewriting, Poetry Quarterly, Three Line Poetry, The MOON, The Remembered Arts, Haiku Journal, and Tanka Journal.
