This year, one of my professional goals has been to write for many new (to me) publications. On Sunday my first essay for The Mid went up, titled "Why I'd Trade My Dream Career For A Baby". They gave it that title; the one I submitted it under was, "I'm 39 And Sad That I Have Books Instead of Babies." Both are accurate, and the response I've been getting to the essay, especially on my Facebook page, shows that it's touched a nerve, especially with women. I hope to continue exploring this topic and figuring out my next steps in my fertility journey.
