Before reading and reviewing fellow SheWriter Deborah Batterman's Shoes Hair Nails I made the comment that shoes, shopping, hair and nails aren't really my thing.

And then I went and picked up a book I really love, Manolo Blahnik's creative artwork that was the inspiration behind many of his shoe creations.

I don't feel the need to buy or wear the shoes, but I love the creativity behind his work, I love that London's Selfridges turned an entire floor of their department store into a shoe gallery, a celebration of creative genius and inspiration.
